Same-Day and Short-Notice Moving

Deals fall through, leases end early, a rental truck never shows. We keep crews free for those days.

Same-Day and Short-Notice Moving in Denver

Every week we hold back capacity that is not on the public calendar. It exists for the call that starts with an apology for the short notice. If you reach us before about two in the afternoon, there is a real chance we can put two movers at your door the same day.

Short notice does not mean a different rate. The hourly price, the three-hour minimum and the equipment are identical to a job booked a month out. What changes is the window: we give you the earliest honest arrival time rather than a comfortable one, and we call the moment we know more.

These jobs move fastest when we skip the long estimate. Tell us the addresses, roughly how many rooms, whether there are stairs and whether anything is packed. That is enough for a rate and a crew size over the phone in a few minutes.

The most common versions we see: a closing that moved up by a week, a landlord who needs the unit empty by Friday, a DIY move that stalled halfway with a loaded truck and no one left to carry. All of them are normal for us and none of them get a panic surcharge.

Reviews

Clients who booked this

August in Boulder is a nightmare for movers and they pulled the parking permit a week ahead so we did not lose an hour circling. That detail alone was worth the call.

Relocated our twelve-person office over a weekend. Monday morning every desk had its own monitor and cables in a labeled bag. Nobody lost a minute of work.

I forgot to mention the finished basement when I called. They adjusted the crew on arrival instead of blowing past the estimate and billing me for it silently.

FAQ

Same-day moving: common questions

How late in the day can I call and still move today?

Two in the afternoon is the practical cutoff for a same-day start in the metro. After that we will usually offer you the first window tomorrow morning rather than promise something we cannot hold.

Is there a rush charge for short notice?

No. The rate card is the same whether you book six weeks ahead or six hours ahead. We would rather fill a truck than penalize a bad week.

My rental truck is half loaded and I am out of help. Can you finish it?

Yes, labor-only rescue is a normal booking. We load or unload your truck with the three-hour minimum applied, and we bring our own blankets and straps if yours ran out.
