Packing, Unpacking and Custom Crating

Our packers work by room and by priority. A typical pattern is full-service on the kitchen, the china cabinet and the closets, while you keep the books, the garage and the clothes you were going to sort anyway. That split usually saves more money than trying to do all of it yourself and running out of time the night before.

Materials come to you before move day: double-walled dish boxes, unprinted newsprint, bubble for glass, wardrobe boxes hung and ready, and mattress bags sized to your beds. You are billed for what you use, and unopened boxes come off the invoice. Nobody profits from a garage full of leftover cardboard.

Fragile and odd pieces get crating. A glass tabletop, a marble slab, a framed canvas or a mounted sculpture gets a wooden crate built to its dimensions, with foam on the contact faces. It costs more than a blanket and a hope, and it is the reason those items arrive intact.

Unpacking at the other end is priced the same way, by the hour. Most people book a packer for the first day in the new place to get the kitchen and beds functional, then handle the rest at their own pace over the following week. That first day is what turns a house full of boxes into somewhere you can actually sleep.
